Research Interests

Chemistry of Organometallic Compounds: Synthesis of transition metal complexes containing small organic molecules and investigation of their chemical properties with the aim of understanding the mechanism of homogeneous catalytic reactions. Specific examples are partial reduction of CO, carbonylation reaction, cyclization and C-C bond formation of organic fragment in metal complexes. Nuclear Magnetic Resonance: Applications of 2D NMR techniques in the structural elucidation of biological molecules and organometallic compounds.
