l. Development of new types of free radical reactions. 
2. The study of intramolecular free radical cyclization reactions involving ?-sulfur functionalities. 
3. The study of asymmetric free radical reactions. 
4. The study of free radical reactions involving acylsilanes as radicalphiles. 
5. Synthesis of natural products using free radical cyclization reactions, especially focussed on alkaloid synthesis. 
6. Asymmetric synthesis using asymmetric dithioacetals.
