General Information

Those who wish to participate in the conference are kindly requested to register in advance by completing the enclosed FORM B and returning it to the Conference Secretariat

Each active participant must submit an individual registration form, which will be acknowledged and confirmed upon receipt. Upon presentation of the confirmation at the conference registration desk, each registrant will receive their conference materials. Participants are requested to wear their conference badges at all times for identification and admittance to the conference rooms and social events.

All participants must pay the registration fee. Please send a bank draft in U.S. dollars payable to ICCT-2002 to the secretariat of ICCT-2002. Payment by credit card is acceptable and please checks details in FORM B. We regret that we are unable to accept registration fee by wire or personal check.

Payment of the registration fee entitles participants to attend all sessions, attend the Reception on Saturday evening (for full registrants only), receive conference materials including Book of Abstracts, receive two lunch tickets for Sunday and Monday, and use free coffee/tea as served during breaks.

In the event that canceling of registration (Participant, Social program, and Excursion) is necessary, please notify ICCT-2002 secretariat in writing or fax. The policy is as follows:

The ICCT-2002 Secretariat offers hotel accommodation at specially reduced conference prices. Howard Plaza Hotel Taipei (

) are two designated hotels. Reservation should be made no latter than Feb. 1 2002 by contacting hotels with FORM (

Taking a taxi at the airport to the Hotels in Taipei city is most convenient. The fare of the ride is about NT$ 1,500. Alternatively, there are several bus companies providing non-stop direct transportation to Taipei city (fares vary from NT$ 110-140). The journey time is about one hour in moderate traffic. The bus will have several stops once getting in the city. A couple of bus companies have the stop at Howard Plaza Hotel (
