國立台灣大學九十年度普通化學課程

--普通化學203101-A1 and A2--

 

須知: 授課對象以主修農業化學系植物系的學生為主,其他欲選修此課者須經過授課教師同意。

一年課程,上下學期各三學分,每週上課四小時,上課時間為週三及週五10:10-12-00。習題講演及討論隔週上課兩小時,時間另定。

實驗每學期一學分,上課時間為週一(植物)週四(農化)14:10-15-00

成績包括作業、討論、報告、考試等

(一) 物質的世界 Matter/Chemical Change/Stoichiometry, Chapters 1-4

   1 introduction, history of modern chemistry, elements, compounds, molecules, and ions, the periodic table and nomenclature

   2 chemical reactions, chemical equations, reaction classifications

   3 atomic and molar masses, the mole, mass spectroscopy, chemical formula,  stoichiometry

(二) 粒子世界的規律 Gases and Molecular Dynamics, Chapters 5  

   1 the ABC (Avogadro, Boyle, Charles) Laws, the ideal gas law, the Dalton's law of partial pressures

   2 the kinetic model

   3 effusion and diffusion, intermolecular collision, real gases

(三) 能量的世界  Thermodynamics, Chapter 6

   1 energy, enthalpy, thermodynamics of gases,   thermochemistry

   2 the 1st law of thermodynamics, calorimetry, Hess's law

(四) 物質的組成  Atomic Structure/PeriodicTable, Chapter 7

   1 atomic spectrum of hydrogen atom, the Bohr model, dual properties of matter,

   2 quantum mechanical description, particle in a box, the wave equation of hydrogen
