Entry Requirements for International Degree Student

B.S. Program

Bachelor Fall 5 Conditional Conditional

Proof of Language Proficiency:

  • Proof of having studied Chinese for at least 1 year(s).

Additional Application Documents:

  • Highest degree graduation certificate (in Chinese or English)
  • Highest degree past-years transcript (in Chinese or English)
  • Proof of language proficiency (if applicable)
  • Photocopy of passport(s) (if available)
  • Photocopy of ROC Alien Resident Certificate (if available)
  • Financial statement
  • Declaration and Authorization Form
  • Receipt of the application fee payment
  • Recommendation Letter(s) × 2
  • The score of SAT or any equivalent examination.

Partial Listing of Required Courses (for reference only):

  • General Chemistry (I) (II): 6 credits
  • Organic Chemistry (I)(II): 6 credits
  • Inorganic Chemistry (I)(II): 6 credits
  • Chemistry Lab. (I) ~ (VI): 10 credits
  • Seminar (B.S.): 2 credits

Others:

  • To facilitate the review process, applicants residing in Taiwan may be required to take an oral/ written examination.

M.S. Program

  • TOEFL Total score 83 or above

  • Photocopy of ROC Alien Resident Certificate (if available)

  • The score of GRE Chemistry Subject Test
  • Proof of one year study of Chinese, or equivalent ability
