1983年臺灣大學化學系學士;1985年臺灣大學生化科學研究所碩士;1993年美國哥倫比亞大學化學系博士;1993-1996年美國斯克瑞普斯研究所博士後研究;1996-2005年任臺灣大學化學系副教授;2005年迄今任臺灣大學化學系教授
