1993 年國立臺灣大學化學系學士;2000 年美國加州大學柏克萊校區化學博士;2000-2004 年美國 Brandeis 大學生化系博士後研究;2004-2007 年加拿大 McGill 大學化學系助理教授;2007-2014 年國立臺灣大學副教授;2014 年迄今國立臺灣大學教授;2018 年美國麻省理工學院生物系訪問教授
